<p>신용카드로 머지포인트를 구매한 일부 구매자들은 사용처에서 이용이 중단됐는데도 할부금액이 지속적으로 빠져나가고 있을 것입니다고 토로했었다. 더욱이 결제 돈이 60만 원을 넘지 않는 소액이거나 일시불로 결제해 항변권을 행사하지 못해 고통받고 있는 상황이다.</p>

<p>신세계인터내셔널 관계자는 “스마트폰 소액결제는 신용카드 결제와 비슷한 구조이기 덕분에 본인이 계좌로 이체가 된다”고 전했다. LF몰 관계자 역시 “핸드폰 소액 결제는 다날, ISP/페이북 등으로 이미 결제가 된 부분이기 때문에 현금으로 당장 지급하고 있을 것이다”고 이야기했다.</p>

<p>‘소액결제 현금화 산업은 불법이다. 아이디어통신망법은 ‘통신과금서비스사용자로 하여금 통신과금서비스에 의하여 재화등을 구매·사용하도록 한 후 사용자가 구매·사용한 재화등을 할인해서 매입하는 행위에 ‘8년 이하의 징역 또는 3천만원 이하의 벌금에 처하도록 규정하고 있을 것입니다.</p>
