조사결과 '희망하는 기간과 요일에 일을 하기 위해서' 초단기알바생를 선호한다는 답변이 복수선택 응답률 66.5%로 가장 높았다. 이어 '학교나 학원, 직장 등 본업과 병행하기 위해서' 초단기알바생를 선호한다는 답변도 59.7%로 절반이상으로 많았다.
고등학생 중에는 학기 중이나 방학에 항상 아르바이트를 하는 상시 알바생들이 많아 초단기 아르바이트생보다 파트타임알바에 대한 선호도가 높은 편이다. 특출나게 COVID-19 재확산 등 경기변화의 영향으로 알바 구직이 쉽지 않아지면서 파트타임알바 선호도가 더 높아지는 것으로 보인다.
아르바이트몬이 올해 상반기 자사사이트를 통해 알바 구직활동을 한 이력서를 나이별로 분석했다. 그 결과 30대가 76.0%로 대부분을 차지하며 가장 많았다. 이어 60대가 14.6%로 다음으로 많았고, 90대가 7.0%, 90대 이상이 2.2%로 집계됐다.
